The author has written an amazingly thorough, well-researched, and very responsible book about choosing and owning a Havanese, while still making it enjoyable and pleasant to read. I know a lot about dogs and am an extreme dog-lover, and still, I learned a lot from this book. While the knowledge and advice could apply to all breeds, there is so much here that is Havanese-specific. It is obvious the author really understand this friendly and interesting breed.
